'When Sam Met Bob'

Bob of ‘Ria John Bob’ was a performance and vocal coach. 2007 14 year old Sam, with his eye on Musicals’ as their future career, walked into Bob’s Musicals’ class at Sylvia Young Theatre School. However Bob immediately recognised the real potential of Sam’s voice and knew they should be in Pop Music where they could write and perform original songs. Bob introduced Sam to Venus & Mars Music (V&M), where Dee and John also saw the budding talent. After a period of getting to know Sam, V&M took Sam under their wing for a transformative three-year development and promotional program. V&M nurtured Sam’s dreams, uncovered and developed their arts and skills and gave Sam all their first professional successes including first chart success and Sam said, in their documentary  July 2009, “I’ve been on an incredible journey”.

From Sam’s journey V&M produced a unique and beautiful creative portfolio including  ‘Sam Smith Their Incredible Journey’ a 90 minute documentary film, a gift of devotion to a great talent, Sam’s every fan will cherish.
